Overview
The ridge is where wind pressure changes sign and driven snow finds its way in, so it is the least forgiving trim on a roof. Our ridge caps are folded to the pitch of the roof rather than bent to a nominal angle on site, and supplied with foam closures cut to the profile they sit on.
Standard girths cover the majority of pitches and profiles. Anything outside them — an unequal pitch, a wide-span ridge, a ventilated detail — is folded to drawing on the same brake, in the same coating as the roof.
