Our target
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target informed the design system rather than being applied afterwards: contrast ratios, focus states, target sizes and heading structure were decided as part of the visual language.

What is implemented
The following are built into every page and component:
- Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page and a logical heading order
- A skip link to the main content region
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Full keyboard operation of the navigation, quote wizard, FAQ accordions and locations map
- Text alternatives for images, diagrams and the profile cross-sections
- Form labels, inline error messages announced to assistive technology, and no colour-only error signalling
- Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference
- Technical tables that scroll within their own container instead of forcing the page sideways

Known limitations
The locations map is a schematic rather than a geographic map. It is fully keyboard operable and every marker has a text alternative, and the same information is available in the location cards beneath it.
Photography and technical documents are still being prepared. Alternative text and document accessibility will be reviewed as those assets are added.

Testing
Formal audit results, including the assistive technologies and browsers tested, will be published here once the site's content is complete and an audit has been carried out.
