Overview
VANKKA Tile is rolled with a transverse step that reproduces the shadow and rhythm of a tiled roof across a full sheet. From the street the roof reads as tile; on the drawing it weighs a fraction of one, which matters when you are re-roofing a structure that was never designed to carry concrete.
The step is set out so courses align across adjacent sheets, and the sheet is cut to module length rather than a fixed stock length — a roof plane finishes on a full step instead of a cut course at the ridge.
It is the natural choice for residential replacement work, particularly where planning or a neighbourhood context expects a pitched tiled appearance and the budget or the structure will not carry the real thing.
