Crimson Render House
A steep gable in dark metal tile above deep red render, with the verge and eaves trimmed in the same dark tone so the colour break falls exactly on the edge.

A steep primary gable meets a lower cross-gabled wing, and the roof carries both without a change in profile. The tile-form metal runs unbroken from ridge to eaves on each plane, so the two volumes read as one covering rather than two separate roofs.
Fascias, gutters and downpipes are the same dark tone as the covering. Against white render that keeps the roof, its edge and its drainage as a single element — and at dusk it is that outline which defines the house.
