Facade trim
Custom fabrication
Metal as a designed surface.
Perforated, formed and specially finished panels for screens, soffits, balustrades and facade features.
Profile cross-section — schematic, not to scale
Overview
Beyond roofing and cladding, steel gets used as a designed surface: perforated screens that shade or hide plant, formed soffit panels, balustrade infills, and facade features that carry a pattern rather than a profile.
We produce these to project drawings — perforation pattern, open area, panel geometry and edge treatment all specified rather than selected. Perforated work is engineered as well as drawn, because open area affects panel stiffness.
This is the part of the business where architects tend to arrive with a sketch and leave with a system.
Perforation geometry and open area specified per project.
Panel stiffness assessed against the open area removed.
Available across the complete coating and colour range.
Technical data
All VANKKA data is metric. Values are confirmed for your project at quotation and issued with the technical documentation.
Finishes
Coating choice is driven by exposure and expected service life rather than by colour. Both are confirmed with your quotation.
Maximum colour stability.
Built for the Nordic envelope.
Low gloss, low reflection, contemporary.

On-screen colours are approximations. Coated steel changes appearance with gloss level, surface texture, viewing angle and daylight. Always confirm a colour against a physical VANKKA sample before ordering.
