Roof safety
Roof safety
Fall protection that stays watertight.
Structural anchor points for fall-arrest equipment, sealed into the roof build-up.
Profile cross-section — schematic, not to scale
Overview
An anchor point has to carry a fall-arrest load into the structure and still be watertight in twenty years. Ours are fixed to the structural deck or purlin below and sealed into the roof with a dedicated flashing rather than a bead of silicone.
Positions are planned against the maintenance routes on the roof, so anchor placement is a design decision made with the walkway layout.
Load path goes to the deck or purlin, never to the sheet.
A formed flashing keeps the penetration watertight long term.
Positions coordinated with walkway and ladder layout.
Technical data
All VANKKA data is metric. Values are confirmed for your project at quotation and issued with the technical documentation.
Finishes
Coating choice is driven by exposure and expected service life rather than by colour. Both are confirmed with your quotation.
The volume coating. Proven, economical, widely specified.
Low gloss, low reflection, contemporary.
Built for the Nordic envelope.
Thick film, high mechanical resistance.

On-screen colours are approximations. Coated steel changes appearance with gloss level, surface texture, viewing angle and daylight. Always confirm a colour against a physical VANKKA sample before ordering.
